Our History
Cotswold Sewing Centres started began with our Banbury store, which has been at the heart of Banbury Old Town for over 40 years. The shop was taken over by its current owner, Amy, following her late mothers passing in 2020. The Covid-19 pandemic saw the launch of our new website and e-commerce store, and in 2021 we acquired our Witney store. This expansion allows us to offer a wider range of products and brands to our customers and we hope to continue to grow in the years ahead.
Who We Are
We are a duo of independent haberdasheries set in the Cotswolds. Our stores are often referred to as “Aladins Caves” by our customers, due to our wide range of products and services. We stock well known brands such as Drops, Lewis & Irene, Stylecraft, Rowan, Bernina and Janome. We have teams of experienced and skilled staff in both locations, who are happy to help with all sewing, knitting and craft projects. We look forward to welcoming you to our stores.
